We went to the SeaHawks first preseason game in Seattle! Very very fun… Did you know that they are not all required to wear protective mouth wear? Many of them have had their helmets knocked off during a game – what happens to their teeth then?
I think about this with my kids and all of the sports that they play. Make sure your kids have had a full dental exam before starting sports this fall and make sure that they have some sort of professional mouth guard to protect their teeth and face! Under Armour makes a mouthguard that in endorsed by almost every professional sports team and athlete in the United States. In fact, the entire US Olympics team wears these mouthguards.
